Why Referrals Are Your Secret Weapon
Want to know what's more powerful than your own marketing?
A happy client doing your marketing for you!
This is the power of referrals.
When your own clients recommend your services to their friends and colleagues, the 'know, like and trust' that they have built with their own community, is instantly transferred to YOU.
Because they trust your client, they will automatically trust you.
So, a recommendation from your happy client to their friends can be the fastest way for you to sign a client.
Think about where this is true in your own life. Where have you taken the recommendation of your friend to invest in a service?
I have so many in my own life!
On my recommendation, my friends and family have hired:
- My mortgage broker
- My cleaners
- My kid's tutoring service
- My coach
- My Japanese language teacher
- My doctor
... And so many more!
And for me personally, on the recommendation of my friends, I have hired:
- My fitness trainer
- My kid's dance school
- My accountant
- I've also bought books, gone to restaurants, bought courses and hired coaches that my friends have recommended.
Referrals are a powerful currency of trust in all of our lives.
However, if you don't put a system in place to generate referrals, then they can be sporadic at best.
